Public Conference

ESO invites you to participate in a public conference (hereinafter – the Consultation1) which will be held in order to inform the market about the Lithuanian Smart Metering Programme and to ensure that the market would have enough time to prepare for the procurements. Further details will be announced on this page and sent directly to the registered participants. 

Preparing for SMART meter deployment ESO plans to announce following tenders:

  • for 1.8 mil. smart meters together with IT solution for meter management and data collection;
  • for telecommunication services (NB-IoT)

  • ImportantAll attendees who are not able to arrive and participate in the conference in Vilnius in person will be provided a web link to join video streaming online. All participants despite the way of participation (virtual and in person) will be provided the opportunity to submit their questions. Answers to all the questions will be published on this page no later than 2 weeks after the conference.

Event agenda

AIMS OF THE CONFERENCE:
  • Provide information for the potential participants about the ESO Smart Metering Programme;
  • Announce and explain ESO smart metering procurement strategy;
  • Familiarise the market with ESO technical requirements for smart metering systems;
  • Explain public procurement procedures in Lithuania and what steps should be taken to be able to participate in the procurement;
  • Have Q/A session with potential participants.

Consultation focuses on entities actively participating in the market of smart meters: suppliers, manufacturers, and system suppliers or consortiums of these potential participants. ESO approaches all participants that are able to provide a full smart metering solution or parts of it (meter vendors, IT systems developers, integrators, telco, etc.) in order to ensure equal conditions to compete and achieve high level of engagement from the market.
