Agnė Domarkienė was appointed as ESO's Head of Services
Agnė Domarkienė, an executive with extensive experience in customer engagement, will start working as the Head of Services at Energijos Skirstymo Operatorius (ESO), a subsidiary of an international energy company Ignitis Group. She will start her new role on 19 April.
“Today, the energy sector is the place where ambitious executives can expect engaging challenges and meaningful personal growth. We are on the brink of the transformation of the energy sector, where innovations become the main driver of the sector, quality assurance for customers and a promise of a sustainable planet,” says Renaldas Radvila, who had been the Head of Services at ESO for almost four years, and who became the CEO of ESO last November.
Now the A. Domarkienė is stepping in as the Head of Services and she believes that customer engagement and feedback is especially important to the company, allowing it to improve.
“Over the last 18 years, improving customer experience was one of the most important goals of my work. And I am very excited to join the ESO team, where I will apply my extensive experience and knowledge while providing information to customers, improving their experience and increasing their engagement. I am personally interested in the energy sector not only because of innovations and technological advancement but I also see it as an opportunity to contribute to the deployment of sustainable solutions in Lithuania,” said A. Domarkienė.
The responsibilities of the position include increasingly relevant energy innovation, deployment of smart and sustainable solutions and transformation of customer-oriented services. R. Radvila hopes that the new Head of Services at ESO will apply the experience she gathered globally while transforming and improving customer services.
Since 2011, A. Domarkienė had been working in a multinational financial services company Western Union, and before that she had worked at a telecommunications company Bitė Lietuva.
The selection for the position of the Head of Services at ESO was announced last December. There were 65 candidate applications in total.
ESO is a part of an international company Ignitis Group, and it ensures the reliability of electricity and gas infrastructure by effectively investing and deploying smart solutions. The company takes care of energy distribution to residents and businesses as well as facilitates green transition and energy market services.
The company also maintains over 127,000 km of power lines, operates over 9,000 km of gas pipelines and provides services to 1.8 million private and business customers throughout Lithuania.
